This season Lorenzo Serafini, the creative director of one of my favorite italian brands, was influenced by Brooke Shields in “The Blue Lagoon”.
Denim featured frayed edges, flowy lightweight dresses showed off shoulders and legs in various colorful floral prints as well as ruffled silk. The philosophy ladies were romantic yet rebellious in cinched at the waist Wide studded leather wrap belts and ankle boots warped up in a rope.

The 80’s cult also inspired the beauty looks with adorable freckles across the nose and cheeks accomplished by dotting on with Mac’s Brow Pencil to make a sun kissed effect which matched perfectly the natural looking face.

being on the backstage of the show is nothing like seeing it on the runway. it’s something else, the energy was unbelievable and getting to see the clothes from a close look was like a dream- I’m glad I experienced this fashion week both.
